It will be delayed until about 9pm EST.

Stage 5 will be due Saturday at Noon EST.

I just got off the phone with Yoda and he asked me to post this.

I had a problem with the uploader. I did log in, but it rejected my export. It said was looking for 001 not 000, I sent this via email early this morning. I am already behind the eight ball so to speak, which is my fault, but I would like to catch up ASAP, so I hope the file is received with the email I sent.

I got an error with conscriptor because of the players birthdays, but it seemed to load everything right, please let me know if something is messed up.

After much thought and consideration, I am delaying stage 5 until monday at noon.

Why?

1. Issues with the uploader.
-Some are seeming to have a problem uploading files. I will just install the uploader I set up for the PFL/GMFL. I wanted to use the un/pwd of people on vBulletin, but I am having a problem getting a hold of the code to do it. So, until I am able to do that, I will put up the other one I have and we'll go with that one for now.

2. Time
- I am tight for time ATM. Looking back, I should have just taken the weekend off. Well, thursday - monday. I just didn't want to delay the league any more after the layoff in the switch over.

3. Time 2
- I need time to resolve some issues on the board, league, my laptop, and other stuff that I am not going to be able to resolve until I can sit down with a couple of hours to work, not the 15 minutes here and there I've had during the move.

So, there you have it. I am sorry once again for any inconvience.

Teams I got WRONG STAGE EXPORTS FOR:
Detroit
Minnesota
NY Giants
Chargers
Saints
Tampa Bay
Washington

Everone eles please redownload the file and resubmitt the export by noon tomorrow.

Yes, this is problematic. The uploader isn't overwriting the information for a new upload, so it's really impossible to confirm whether your upload is successful as some folks - myself included - are getting the "upload successful" message even though you didn;t receive our upload.

If you're not deleting the uploaded exports after every sim you should do so. That may alleviate the problem.

I've re-uploaded and still get the 02/25 date, so I'll email you my export. But as you can see, the version of uploader you're using is very problematic.

Are you sure that's necessary? The league file you uploaded would be saved on your computer. If you simply upload the same one again...no problem, right? I mean, if you re-open your game it doesn't stick and you it looks like all your work is gone, but as long as you don't save over that export file, you should be good to just reload it to the site....right?

that is correct if I don't have any other leagues where I'm making exports for......which unfortunately I do.

I thought I have been deleting them. It maybe an issue with the FTP program I am using. I'll try another and see if that fixes the issue. I have already put up a new uploader.

I left the old stage5 ones up there, probably a bad idea in hind sight.

Specifically for you Bear, I show the file was uploaded 2/27/09 at 1:55PM.

Hopefully this fixes the issue.

This could be a stupid question.... but do you have the current league file on the computer you are checking the exports on? I'm listed on the "good" export list above and didn't submit until about an hour ago. I'm thinking maybe your computer is still reading FA-4... just something to check.

Wow.... just wow....

Yeah, not sure how that happened. Those teams listed above are teams that exports are the WRONG STAGE, everyone else is good....
