Weldon has a miserable 26-55 record as a starter but in parting shot to the AFC West teams he said “ lets be honest I’ve hardly had much talent around me have I!!!” Weldon went on to say “ I can’t wait to get started with the Vikings, they have two awesome young Receivers for me to throw to in Antonio Freeman and Terry Glenn, it’s just a pity Tony Martin went the other way in trade as I would have loved to have played with the man, he is such a legend.”

We also got a few words with Vikings Head Coach Ricardo Lane, we asked how he felt about the Offense now that Weldon was on the team, Coach Lane said “Well I feel balance is everything and I feel we are to close to that on Offense, getting a solid Quartberback was paramount in the Off-Season and Casey is that guy. We maybe need to upgrade the Offensive Line in one or two places but key for the Draft will be to get some new blood into the Defense and with 3 first round picks I feel we can do that. I am excited about this team and I already feel the North is ours to lose this year.
