I have a windows NT desktop that i've been using without issues for years. Also now have a windows 7 laptop which I've been running the game on "quite happily" for a month or so.

I had the issue others mentioned earlier on in the season where my gameplan didn't seem to take and with limited time on my hands never thought much of it.

However tonight have loaded the midweek turn onto both machines tonight and found some strange issues. I'm definitely looking at the same turn, results the same, players stats etc. Yet there is a problem....

.. when I look at the Basic Offensive Gameplan and Defensive Gameplans, Choices and Situations the numbers for the weighting don't match at all. They seem to be set at the last entry I used on each machine.

Now obviously this is causing an issue I think if I upload from one machine with changes not being sent. I don't quite understand though how after unzipping the same file on both machines I see different details for these areas, yet other things clearly match.

I'm hoping with the knowledge we have in the league someone can advise and shed some light on what's going on? I have the same global options set on both machines (Yes to all options).

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Stuart

Game plans are not sent with the exports that you download anymore.

The machine will only have what you last exported from that machine.

Ahhh right didn't realise that, is that just for this league or just the way the game works now?

I'd always assumed the export file was so small because it only sent changes to settings and if that's the case does it not cause an issue? An example would be I might be looking at the double coverage settings on the one machine and assume they are fine for the next game, but they may actually be wrong if I'd last exported from the other machine with different settings.

Of course if all settings are uploaded then that's fine, but if it's just changes maybe that explains why we sometimes get questions about teams not playing as they are expected too? Does that make sense?

Thanks for the help

That's the way the game works now - I use Dropbox and just copy all of my game plans to that folder and then I can access them from whichever machine I am working from.
