1.10 S Anthony Poindexter 20/46 >> 21/50
- Combine stud. If this guy isn't masked I'll be completely shocked. I totally expect him to start at SS right away and for the next several years for the Raiders.

1.27 DT Rod Coleman 31/69 >> 31/65
- Should give us a good pass rushing presence from the DT spot along with solid run stopping. I expect him to anchor the Raiders DLine for many years.
I loved watching him play when he was with the Falcons in the NFL.

2.1 DE Patrick Kerney 38/47 >> 38/47
- Just a personal favorite player of mine. Probably a huge reach here. No combine scares me as I have no idea what to expect. The hope is that his PRT bar is big and he can provide us with at least a pass rushing presence in nickle/dime formations.

2.12 OT Luke Petitgout 24/77 >> 25/70
- I was stunned to see him still on the board at this point. He is definitely 1st round value in my opinion and barring some random bust he should be our LT for many, many years.

4.32 WR Brian Finneran 14/26 >> 15/27
- This guy is and has been one of my favorite players over the last decade for the Atlanta Falcons. So we drafted him even though every thing pointed to him sucking. Got to love historical leagues though.

5.1 QB Daunte Culpepper 12/33 >> 13/34
- I have to admit. I have no clue how or why he was in my list. He probably gets cut unless I keep him around as my 4th string QB.

6.1 CB Donald Mitchell 22/45 >> 22/42
- Eh. Not sure what to think. His bars look alright but his combine was nothing special. I don't expect his ratings to stick at all.

7.1 WR P.J. Franklin 13/56 >> 13/44
- Had some nice looking bars but in the 7th round and with his combine I really don't expect them to hold.

Overall I would say not a very impressive draft.
It looks like we got some good players where we should but possibly with 2.1 and all the picks 4th round and lower we probably struck out.

Petitgout was a massive find in the 2nd round. There were some terrible picks in the first round, too.

I came close to picking petitgout at 2(11) but decided I a D tackle was of more a need for us. If had he had stuck around a few picks later he would be an outlaw. Nice pick.

Nice write up Disturbed! I think Luke, Poindexter, and Coleman are great players to surround Manning man.

Love all those Wahoos you picked, Disturbed !
Dex was possibly the best defensive player to ever play at Virginia. He was just incredible. Quick and dexterous enough to cover, but man did he lay the wood when he hit! He came back for his senior year despite being projected as a first round pick as a junior, then blew out his knee on freak injury against Wolf's NC State team late in the season (he was coming up at the tail end of a play and slowing up and the State player rolled right up on his leg; his knee was never the same). Always felt so bad for him - such an unlucky break. He's currently the special teams/d-backs coach at Virginia.
Kerney was recruited as a lacrosse defenseman who walked onto the football team; after a year the coaches realized what incredible potential he had and he dropped lacrosse for football full time. I'm sure you loved watching him get after opposing QBs down in Atlanta all those years !!
I hope they end up being star GEFL players!
