I only voted yes, because I have a 4 way race for my QB job. lol. Normally, I would say no, though.

I feel it is way too fast. I like to use it for rookies in the first two games and get the rust off the last two games. Mabee eve 1 and 2, then 3, then 4, 5 so it is an extra sim only.
I will state this. I do not want 1 sim per preseason game. If i have to choose between 2 sims of all the games or 5 i choose 2.

What if we simmed wks 1 -3, had a an interim day, and then simmed wks 4 -5 . I'm in BH's camp: two days is too fast, but i don't want five days of ex. season sims, either.

Sim week 1 and 2 (week 1 is only 4 teams total anyway.) Then sim 3 and 4. This lets everyone get in another export for game 5, they can knock rust off players if they need, play that fringe rookie one last time to decide if he makes the team, etc..
I would think by game 5 you should have a fair idea of who is making your team. After game 5, roll into the regular season schedule. So, if you have say 54/55 players still on your roster, you make your final 2 cuts, set your inactive and starters and should be GTG.
This would only extend the preseason by 1 day. So, it is still quick, but everyone can get a minimum of 3 exports in before the start of the regular season. (1 for weeks 1/2, 1 for weeks 3/4, and 1 for week 5.)

No offense to anyone, but even with no getting the most votes, I am tempted to make some kind of a change. Not sure what kind of one, but something.

I'm guessing if you put an IDK option in the poll the "NO's" would be fewer...I think that is how I actually voted but I honestly don't care if you want to do something different.

It doesn't really matter to me, but what's the point in the poll if you want to make a change, anyway?

It's not that I WANT to, I feel I should.
I owuld even prefer a one sim for all preseason and we're done. Saves time since injuries are turned off anyway.

Could not disagree with you more, ol' friend. I'd prefer one week of preseason - 5 straight days, 5 sims, no midweek files. Even our current system better than your proposed.
Am very vehemently opposed to your plan, which reduces the entire preseason to meaninglessness, IMO. And with all the roster juggling in the preseason, if a GM messes up his roster and the AI rearranges or something - which seems to happen fairly often - said GM gets to go into the season with several rusty players, maybe even those he intended to be starters.
If "rust" didn't exist in this game, I might go for your solution. But because it does, nonononononononono ;)
One thing I want to note, and this is by design, that non-football injuries in FoF can still occur with the injury setting at 0. Flu, food poisoning, ect....
