The Rams finished 2002 with a 10-6 record and made the Playoffs as a wild card team.
Upset Victories over Philadelphia (34-12) and Oklahoma (16-13) put Los Angeles in the NFC Championship game vs The Chicago Bears and had fans thinking maybe The Rams could go to The GEFL Bowl. Unfortunately the Bears were too strong at home and LA lost 30-0 and The Bears went on to defeat Kansas City in The GEFL Bowl.
The Franchise did take some major steps forward, winning 2 playoff games and raising hopes for the future.
