Question about draft order, my understanding was that if there was a tie in record that the team with the lowest opponent record was awarded the higher pick. What affects the order of draft selections?

of all the teams with 10 wins I had the 2nd easiest schedule, I can only assume that making the playoffs made the difference in draft position.

If you rank teams in power rankings then in record that is the order you will draft.
If you played a lesser schedule and you have the same record you will have the better pick.
The only variance on this is actual tied games rank as half a win, and if a team makes the playoffs they get a worse pick, and if the teams have the same W-L % and saem opponent % and no head to head games it is a complete coin flip for the pick.

The playoff teams draft after the non playoff teams. Superbowl teams always have last two picks.
