Incredibly athletic for his size, Peters was used as a TE in college at Arkansas. Rated the #4 prospect overall in the 2004 GEFL Draft. GM Wahoo desperately hoped for a WR, but with Fitzgerald, Welker, and Williams already off the table, the Cardinals elected to go with the best offensive player available. Peters will protect Vick and clear the way for 2nd year RB Larry Johnson.

Pre TC 45/83

2.8 (40) WR Jerricho Cotchery
http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSsQXQ9cjGEoSS0g0N5ahPGttx-aY-lK24uSQgd8G6m-SM4TYw2

<TABLE align=center><TBODY><TR><TD align=right>School:</TD><TD>North Carolina State</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Height:</TD><TD>6' 0" (Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Weight:</TD><TD>199 lbs. Cotchery was a two time all ACC selection. He broke school records with 200 career receptions and 15 career 100-yard receiving games, both previously held by consensus All-American Torry Holt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torry_Holt) (1995–98), and finished second to Holt in school history with 3,119 yards and 21 touchdown catches. St. Louis needs help at WR as long time tandem Jimmy Smith and Corey Maxwell close out their careers (Smith retired, Maxwell not re-signed). Cotchery shows promise as a Kick Returner, which gave him the edge over the other "second tier" Receivers.

Pre TC 36/51

3.7 (71) G Rex Hadnot
http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT3gEpuF-Ojm9KBiUbinYps6WAdR-hUbzrjZgnwfs7SZ8Zl37tB

<TABLE align=center><TBODY><TR><TD align=right>School:</TD><TD>Houston</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Height:</TD><TD>6' 2" (Below Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Weight:</TD><TD>310 lbs. (Below Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Experience:</TD><TD>R</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Solecismic Score:</TD><TD>47</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>40 Time:</TD><TD>5.07</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Bench Reps:</TD><TD>26</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Agility:</TD><TD>7.66</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Broad Jump:</TD><TD>7' 10"</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Grade:</TD><TD>5.20</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Adjusted Grade:</TD><TD>4.90</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Guard Hadnot did not impress the scouts much with his skills in workouts. The Cardinals take a risk though, hoping that the athletic lineman is a project that will pay dividends in the future. Hadnot's solecismic score, 40, and agility times were as good or better than the Guards selected before him.

Pre TC 12/16

4.6 (102) WR Reggie Williams
http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRVFqLTqTKb27s-uG8IF8KydXWz8Mp0yHzuF4hZavCswLS9ZUeL

<TABLE align=center><TBODY><TR><TD align=right>School:</TD><TD>Washington</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Height:</TD><TD>6' 3" (Way Above Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Weight:</TD><TD>223 lbs. (Way Below Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Experience:</TD><TD>R</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Solecismic Score:</TD><TD>23</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>40 Time:</TD><TD>4.51</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Bench Reps:</TD><TD>15</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Agility:</TD><TD>7.20</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Broad Jump:</TD><TD>8' 11"</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Position Drill:</TD><TD>58</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Grade:</TD><TD>4.80</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Adjusted Grade:</TD><TD>5.00</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

With the 4th round pick, the Cardinals continue to bolster their receiving corp, selecting Washington Husky Reggie Williams. Williams is a big, strong target who is not afraid to go across the middle of the field. Good but not great speed and agility, but tied for highest among WRs with 15 bench reps and also a top 5 position drill score.

Pre TC 22/32

5.5 (133) CB Von Hutchins
http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTQLBsZt-59Srea-Vig9uinji9IwQwPA7QyMWOdn1CaP8ADlcQw

<TABLE align=center><TBODY><TR><TD align=right>School:</TD><TD>Mississippi</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Height:</TD><TD>5' 11" (Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Weight:</TD><TD>184 lbs. (Below Average)</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Experience:</TD><TD>R</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Solecismic Score:</TD><TD>33</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>40 Time:</TD><TD>4.52</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Bench Reps:</TD><TD>13</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Agility:</TD><TD>7.16</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Broad Jump:</TD><TD>9' 0"</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Position Drill:</TD><TD>35</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Grade:</TD><TD>5.00</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Adjusted Grade:</TD><TD>5.20</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

St. Louis is very high on 5th round pick Von Hutchins. They feel they may have gotten a steal. Many of Hutchins combine scores were just outside of the top tier, and his solecismic score was among the highest. If he develops as the Cardinals hope, he'll have a knack for being around the ball and a strong special teams player.

Pre TC 27/46

6.9 FB Troy Fleming & 7.8 FB Mike Karney
http://thm-a01.yimg.com/image/c55db65d6a2ef17a http://web.wireimage.com/images/tnm/1561995.jpg

Talent is hard to find in the late rounds. Current Cardinal FB Jamie Reader is servicable. The front office brought in two rookie FBs to compete with Reader. There can be only one.

Pre TC 14/23 (Fleming) 15/35 (Karney)
