GG Bulldog. We held Esiason to 20-47 passing and 2 interceptions. However, 5 of those 20 completions were down field. I'll be glad when we get Gildon back.

GG, Rev-
There was not much defense being played on either side in this showcase of two of the best backs from this year's draft. It was fun to watch and we were finally able to break some long runs and get an efficient game from Erickson.

The inability to close drives with a TD doomed us in this game.
GG Peacefrog.
Sanders has definitely slowed down since I mentioned him in the reports thread.
Next up, Da Bears

We had a bye so the guys could rest but a few interesting things-
New England-lol Nighttrain wtf...16-0 one season then the crapper two years in a row to now leading the division
Birmingham-i think we all thought they would roll on their own but 4-1 is more then rolling.
NFC East 16-4 and might have 4 teams that should make the playoffs but will not be able to.
AFC West 4-13 These teams are in a downward spiral as some of the "seem" to be tanking this year with some youth and bad trades.

I'm not tanking I just don't believe in rebuilding half way. I'm not one of those owners to hang on to a few players and try to rebuild around them. I prefer to suck and then rebuild from scratch. This time though once I get my team rolling I won't make a bunch of trades to get older talent to try to win. I'll just work on building a team that wins consistently. I've gotten better about that. It took me awhile to learn it though.
That being said I'm not sure what to do to get offense out of this team. I'm trying a run heavy game plan in hopes of making the game shorter and hoping for a turnover or big kick return to steal us a win.

Tim, I don't mind the trades you made this offseason . But truth be told, you might have been able to make another run with these guys.

Okay so when the game starts like this:
10 - 0 down, 0 yards of offence v 128 yds
17-0 down, 2 yds offence v 171 yds (after 15mins 39)
24-0 down, 9 yards from 9 plays (and a turnover) v 183 yds
... well you can work out the rest.
Hugely unimpressed with this weeks lack of performance. Our OL just didn't show up and allowed 5 sacks and failed to allow the running game any opportunities at all.
The defence was awful for the first half and only stepped up when the game was long gone. We then threw in turnovers as well and poor special teams to the mix and it was hard to find a positive this week. We only there to Johnson 4 times, for 1 catch and 12 yards !!!
This time isn't a playoff conetnder but the offence should be gelling and putting up good points each week, the last few weeks it's failed quite badly in my eyes.

STL 13
GG Subby! The Skins gave us plenty of opportunites, and we squandered them all.
Fun stats of the week for STL. 7 passes dropped (4 on 3rd or 4th downs). 2 Ints (both in the red zone). 3 3rd down stops negated by STL penalties. Starting RCB Gordon injured and out for the year.

I knew I could make another run with them. I had no doubt about that. I even told my brother before I decided to trade them off that I would be disappointed if we didn't win it all this year... but then...
I just decided to get something for them and start a rebuild now.

GG Weboes
Got behind early and never were able to establish the run game. You also got great play from Sacca and Faulk and we never had a way to slow down Sacca's passing.
